Somewhat Certain is a curated corner of the internet where vintage treasures find modern homes. By visiting our site or purchasing a piece, you’re agreeing to the terms below — the fine print that keeps our little universe running smoothly.

1. The Nature of Vintage

  • Every piece we offer has lived a life before you — and that’s the beauty of it.

  • Signs of age, subtle wear, patina, and character are expected and celebrated.

  • We describe + photograph each item carefully, but slight variations in color or appearance may occur due to lighting and screens.

  • All items are sold as found, as photographed, and as loved.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are listed in USD and may shift as the market demands.

  • We accept all major payment methods displayed at checkout.

  • Once an order is placed, it cannot be edited or canceled. We will do our best to accommodate extenuating circumstances, so please reach out ASAP if there’s an issue!

3. Shipping

  • Orders typically ship within 3 business days.

  • Shipping rates are displayed at checkout based on location + carrier.

  • Once a package leaves our hands, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier. We’re unable to replace or refund lost or delayed shipments.

  • International buyers are responsible for customs or import fees.

4. Returns & Exchanges

  • Because each piece is one-of-one:

    • All sales are final.

    • No returns, exchanges, or cancellations.

    • If your piece arrives damaged due to shipping, email us within 48 hours with photos, and we’ll help initiate a carrier claim.

5. Creative & Intellectual Property

  • Photography, descriptions, branding, and design elements on this site belong to Somewhat Certain.

  • We love when you share our work — but please ask before reproducing or using our images for commercial purposes.

6. Site Conduct

  • By using this site, you agree not to engage in fraud, scraping, misuse, hacking, or any chaotic digital behavior that disrupts our operations. We're a small brand; please be kind.
